We regret to inform you that as of 9/26/2025, SDI USA has ceased all operations. Due to the lack of sufficient management structure and an aging workforce, we are no longer able to meet the high standard of support and service our customers deserve. As such, we have made the difficult decision to terminate our company's operation.
Licensed customers are authorized to continue using their licensed software products without further License or Maintenance and Technical Support fees. However, no Technical Support services will be available. The software products affected by this change include TN3270 Plus, SDI LPD, and any other software licensed by SDI USA in the past. There will be no future product updates, no new releases, and no new licenses. The products should continue to perform their intended function until changes to the operating environment make it incompatible with our products. Feel free to continue using the products for no cost until you decide to move to another supplier.
We intend to keep the sdisw.com website available, but unmonitored until 12/31/2026. We recommend that you download the installation files, user guides and sample files and keep them in a safe place for your future use before the web site closes down.

TN3270 Plus is a flexible, efficient and inexpensive terminal emulator application for connecting Windows PC users to IBM zSeries (S/390) mainframe, IBM iSeries (AS/400), UNIX and other Windows systems via TCP/IP.
TN3270 Plus supports telnet, telnet 3270 (TN3270), telnet 3270 enhancements (TN3270E) and telnet 5250 (TN5250). TN3270 Plus includes terminal emulation for 3270, 5250, VT220, VT100 and ANSI terminals and printer emulation for 3287 and 5250 printers. TN3270 Plus also includes an integrated set of TCP/IP utilities. All this in a compact easy to use product.

For example, automate common tasks with the scripting language or connect up to 99 terminal or printer emulation sessions of any type in any combination at the same time. Use WinHLLAPI or DDE to allow your applications to interface with TN3270 Plus. Use the TN3270 Plus FTP client for quick and easy file transfers. SSL and SSH support allow secure connections. Use the integrated Internet utilities to gather information about other Internet users or to check the status of your email without ever leaving TN3270 Plus.
Flexible
TN3270 Plus supports Windows Vista, 2003, XP, 2000, NT, ME, 9x and 3.1x. A common interface to these operating systems allows deployment of the product throughout your enterprise without the support costs associated with multiple user interfaces. You may tailor the desktop interface to your specifications with keyboard mapping, color definition and customizable ASCII to EBCDIC translation tables.

SDI Maintenance and Technical Support Agreements
Maintenance and Technical Support Agreement
Users are entitled to the following:
1. Reasonable technical support via e-mail and reasonable telephone support if e-mail cannot be used.
2. Product updates. This agreement entitles users at any time to download and use the latest version of the product.
3. Technical support is provided without additional charge.
SDI frequently announces maintenance updates and periodically announces major release level changes. You are encouraged to regularly visit our web site for the latest announcements. One calendar year after a new major release level becomes generally available, all older release levels become non-current and cease to be supported under SDI's standard Technical Support facilities described above.
Maintenance Plan (mandatory) 15% of purchase price. ($100.00 minimum) After the first year, the maintenance plan is renewable annually.
